Membership
Who can be members at WeStreet Federal Credit Union?
Anyone who lives, works, goes to school, or worships in Tulsa, Cherokee, Creek, Mayes, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Wagoner, or Washington County is eligible to be a member of WeStreet Credit Union.
Are the locations changing?
- Over the next year, all current locations will remain open but will receive some upgrades. We will remain open during the remodels. There are no changes to your membership taking place.
Did Tulsa FCU close? Am I still a member of Tulsa FCU?
- Tulsa Federal has not closed but has changed its name to WeStreet Credit Union. Your membership will remain the same.
Did my Tulsa FCU account close? Was it transferred?
- No. The credit union changed its name only; accounts will not be affected.
Savings
Is my money safe at the credit union?
- Yes. The credit union is still federally insured by NCUA. “Not one penny of insured savings has ever been lost by a member of a federally insured credit union.” The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) insures deposits at participating credit unions up to at least $250,000 per individual depositor. To estimate how much your deposits are insured for, you can use the Share Insurance Estimator created by the NCUA. The estimator can be found at https://www.mycreditunion.gov/insurance-estimator.
Where does my money go during the transition?
- Your money will not moved. Your account(s) will not be affected in any way. All changes were made on the administrative side.
Did my account number change?
- Your account number did not change, it stayed the same.
Checking
Will the routing numbers change?
- The routing number stayed the same. It is 303986261.
Do I need a new checkbook?
- You do not need a new checkbook; the current checks will continue to work until they expire or it’s time to get new checks.
Will my old checks stop working?
- No, there are no changes to your checks.
Will my account balance stay the same?
- Yes, all account balances remain the same.
Will my account numbers change?
- No, your account number will stay the same.
Do I have to close my account?
- No, you do not have to take any action on your account.
Auto/Personal/Business Loan
Will my payments for my loan change?
- Your loan payment rate or any other prior rates will not change due to the brand transition.
Who do I sign my loan payment checks to?
- Loan payments can be made to Tulsa FCU or the new name. Either will be accepted and will not be denied.
What will happen with my Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan with Tulsa Federal?
- PPP Loans will continue to be serviced under the original terms of the loan agreement under the Tulsa FCU name.
Mortgage/Home Equity
Where do I send my mortgage payments?
- Mortgage payments can be made to the same way.
Do I have a new lender for my mortgage?
- No. Your loan will not change or be sold.
Are my mortgage payments changing?
- No. Your loan will not change.
Credit Card
Will my card change?
- Your current Tulsa FCU card will continue to work. We will not be reissuing new cards. You may purchase a new card or wait until the expiration date to receive a new card.
Will my card stop working?
- Your card will continue to work as normal.
Where do I make my card payments?
- Credit card payments can be made the same way you’ve made them in the past.
Shared Banking
- The Credit Union is a member of CO-OP Shared Branching.
Online Mobile Banking / Business Mobile Banking
Will the app change? How will it change?
- The app icon and layout will change to match the new brand colors. None of the features or processes will change.
Do I have to download a new app?
- You will need to update your app for the changes to take place on your personal device. However, the functionality and your accounts will not be affected if an update isn’t made immediately.
Will my login to online/mobile change?
- Your login credentials will not change.
Debit Card
Will my card change?
- Your Tulsa FCU debit card will continue to work. We will not be reissuing new cards. You may purchase a new card or wait until the expiration date to receive a new card.
Will my card stop working?
- Your card will continue to work as normal.
