Rewards Account Benefits Overview

WeStreet Rewards Checking and Interest Rewards Checking accounts offer exclusive benefits, protections, and rewards powered by BaZing. Here you can find all of the benefits offered by your account and learn more about how to access them.  

If you would like to access Checking Rewards from Online Banking, simply log in, hover over rewards on the navigation menu, and click on Checking Rewards.  

You can also access BaZing rewards through the WeStreet Rewards App. With the WeStreet Rewards app, you can allow access to rewards for your whole family without giving them access to your banking information.

Benefits Included 

Cell Phone Protection 

If your cell phone is damaged or stolen, you’ll be reimbursed for the cost of repair or replacement up to $800. Lost phones are not covered, only phones that are broken or stolen. The Cell Phone Protection benefit is insurance and has limits on coverage outlined below. 

  • Protection begins on the first day of the month following the payment of your phone bill using your WeStreet Rewards Checking or Interest Rewards Checking account which is associated with your BaZing account. 
  • Your primary cell phone and up to two other cell phones listed on your monthly cell phone bill are covered by the Cell Phone Insurance Protection benefit. 
  • There is a $50 copay for all claims. 
  • You can submit a maximum of two claims per 12-month period with a maximum of $800 per claim and $1600 per 12-month period. 
  • If you do not make a cell phone bill payment, your Cell Phone Insurance Protection benefit will be suspended for that month and will start again on the first day of the month following payment of your cell phone bill. 
  • Only cell phones purchased by the WeStreet Rewards Checking or Interest Rewards Checking account holder are eligible for coverage. 
  • Pre-paid or pay-as-you-go phones are specifically excluded from coverage. Cosmetic damage to a cell phone that does not impact its functionality or damage that is the result of abuse, or normal wear and tear is also excluded from coverage. Any cell phone that is not purchased from a cellular service provider’s retail store, an authorized reseller, or an internet store is also excluded from coverage. 

Submitting a Claim 

In order to submit a claim, you must call BaZing at 855-822-9464 within 60 days of your phone being stolen or damaged. You can download a claim form through the WeStreet Rewards App or by calling BaZing directly. 

When you submit a claim, you must provide BaZing the completed claim form and all required documentation stated on the claim form and in the Cellular Telephone Guide to Benefits as determined by the Benefit Administrator. You have 60 days after your cell phone is damaged or stolen to notify BaZing, and 90 days to submit documentation. 

To be eligible for coverage, you must pay your cell phone bill from your WeStreet Rewards Checking or Interest Rewards Checking account which is associated with your BaZing membership account. 

Roadside Assistance 

The Roadside Assistance benefit covers roadside service assistance for up to $80 per occurrence. Only one occurrence is covered per seven-day period, and only four occurrences are covered per 12-month period. 

When using the Roadside Assistance benefit you can choose from two options: a BaZing roadside assistance provider or a provider of your choice.  

To use a BaZing provider click here and follow the instructions.  

To use your own provider, set up a service and pay the service provider directly. Once the service is complete, send a copy of your original receipt from the service provider showing which service was provided and the charges to BaZing Member Services

Only certain services qualify under the Roadside Assistance benefit: 

  • Towing  
  • Battery jump start 
  • Flat tire changes 
  • Fuel delivery 
  • Lock-out  
  • Collision  
  • Extrication 

Telemedicine 

You have 24/7 access to licensed clinicians including physicians and nurse practitioners who can provide health services via video chat or phone call through the Sesame telehealth platform. This benefit is available as often as needed for a $0 access fee for primary telehealth visits. This applies only to the account holder.  

Through telehealth, you can receive prescriptions, if necessary, referrals to specialists, and have face-to-face conversations with healthcare providers. Other services are available at a reduced rate. Please note that the Telemedicine benefit is not insurance. 

Financial Wellness 

With the Financial Wellness benefit, you have the ability to create legally binding Wills, Health Care Proxies, Powers of Attorney, Pet Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and more. The Financial Wellness benefit is powered by Gentreo, who will inform you if there are updates required to your created legal documents due to change in state or national law.  

All of your legal documents and other important information will be stored in your Family Vault, so it is all in one place you can access easily. You can decide who has access to the Vault and invite them to view documents you wish for them to have access to.  

In the event of an emergency, having these legal documents created and available can save you and your loved ones’ anxiety, time, and money spent on legal fees. 

Personal Identity Theft Aid 

What is Personal Identity Theft Aid? 

If you have your identity stolen, Personal Identity Theft Aid offers reimbursement for covered expenses from the process of restoring your identity up to $2,500 as a result of a Covered Stolen Identity Event. 

Who is Covered? 

All WeStreet members who have a Rewards Checking or Interest Rewards Checking account are covered. 

What is a Covered Stolen Identity Event? 

A Covered Stolen Identity Event means that your name, account number, social security number, or other identifying information was stolen or used fraudulently.  

What is Covered? 

  • Costs incurred by having to re-apply for loans, grants, credit cards, or other financial instruments which have been rejected as a result of incorrect information that was caused by a Covered Stolen Identity Event. 
  • Costs that have been reasonably incurred because of your efforts to report or restore your identity because of a Covered Stolen Identity Event. This includes things like having affidavits notarized, making long-distance phone calls, and postage.  
  • Costs for a maximum of four credit reports that are requested because of a Covered Stolen Identity Event. Reports from any entity approved by the Benefit Administrator are covered. 
  • Any actual wages that have been lost for time taken away from work solely because of your efforts to report or repair your identity because of a Covered Stolen Identity Event. 
  • Reasonable fees for an attorney that has been appointed by the Benefit Administrator and any related court fees that are incurred with the consent of the Benefit Administrator for lawsuits brought against you because of a Covered Stolen Identity Event. 

What is Not Covered? 

  • Any fraudulent acts that you commit. 
  • Any damages or losses that are not stated in the disclosure document which is available in the WeStreet Rewards App. 
  • Sick days or any time taken from self-employment. 
  • Any costs that are the result of theft or unauthorized use of an account by someone who you have trusted your account information with. 

Is There a Charge for the Service? 

No, the Personal Identity Theft benefit is free to all members who have either a Rewards Checking or Interest Rewards Checking account. 

When and Where am I Covered? 

You are covered for Covered Stolen Identity Events that occur in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada while you have either a Rewards Checking or Interest Rewards Checking account open. 

How Can I File a Claim? 

Call BaZing’s Benefit Administrator at (855) 822-9464 immediately when you believe that a Covered Stolen Identity Event has happened and provide any information that you have. 

Payment Card Fraud Resolution 

If your payment card is lost or stolen, you can contact a fraud specialist who will assist you with cancelling your active cards and ordering new ones. The fraud specialist will also offer guidance and next steps to take in protecting your finances. You do not need to register your cards in advance to access this service.

Identity Restoration 

If you are the victim of identity theft or another fraud related crime, you can contact a fraud specialist who will help guide you through the process of restoring your identity, credit rating, and legal integrity. Identity theft can be devastating, but you don’t have to go through it alone.  

You have unlimited access to Fraud Specialists who will assist you with everything from notifications to creditors to filing alerts and freezes. 

Health Savings Card 

The Health Savings Card benefit offers discounts and preferred pricing for prescriptions, eye care, and hearing services at participating providers. These discounts cannot be combined with your primary insurance, but you can choose the coverage that offers you the best price. Please note that the Health Savings Card benefit is not insurance.  

To access preferred pricing simply open your WeStreet Rewards App, click Health Savings, then Health Savings Card, then show the information to the participating provider at the time of service or purchase. 

For vision and hearing savings, you can find participating retailers and providers through the WeStreet Rewards App. Simply click on ‘Health Savings’ and select eye care or hearing savings. 

Buyer’s Protection and Extended Warranty 

The Buyer’s Protection and Extended Warranty benefit will repair, replace, or reimburse you up to the original purchase price, minus any shipping and handling charges, for purchases of new items up to a maximum of $2,500. This applies for the first 180 days after you purchase the protected product.  

To be eligible for The Buyer’s Protection and Extended Warranty benefit, your item must have been purchased entirely using your WeStreet Rewards Checking or Interest Rewards Checking account.  

Items are covered for up to $2,500 per item with a maximum of $50,000 per year. Any existing warranty on the product has its coverage length doubled to one year maximum.

Savings Network 

You can access a savings network that provides you with national and local discounts through the Savings Network benefit. Find discounts and coupons for everything from stores and restaurants to museums and theme parks all across the country.  

Travel Accidental Death Insurance 

This benefit covers loss of life due to an accident while traveling through a licensed common carrier such as an airplane, a bus, a taxi, a train, or as a passenger in an automobile. The Travel Accidental Death Insurance benefit does not cover accidents which are covered by workers’ compensation. There is a $10,000 death benefit per eligible account holder.
